Get more out of Trade Shows!

by Don Sanders, 11/15/2002

As strange as it may seem, the most productive time at a trade show is the last hour. By then most of your competition has left, giving you the opportunity to easily visit with suppliers, because their booths are less crowded. Suppliers usually have catalogs and samples left over and many would rather give them away than have to pay shipping charges to send them back to their offices. Suppliers are also more likely to remember their last show presentation rather than their first. This will give you the time to form valuable relationships that will come in handy when asking for help on rush orders in the future.

Moral of the story:
Be there when others are not!
