Make Prospects Return your Calls!

The best way to have someone call back is to leave the
“I will never bother you again message.” When we provide
new leads with samples or talk about orders with them and
they then ignore us, we select a time when they are
unavailable and leave them a voice mail.

The message goes like this “Joe, it is Susan Sanders and I
am sorry for being a pest, but since you have not gotten back
to me, believe that your order situation has changed. I understand
if this is the case and promise not to bother you again, but if
you ever need help with anything, would love to assist you when
the time comes.”

After leaving that message, more than 40% of the time, prospects
call back and apologize for not returning our calls and end up
eventually placing orders. For ones who do not respond, we put
them on our dead account list and never think about them again.
